At the close of trade on the NYSE, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 0.11%, the S&P 500 index climbed by 0.38%, and the NASDAQ Composite index added 0.54%. The best and worst performers of the session were Apple Inc., which rose 1.92% to 187.65, and 3M Company, which fell 1.07% to 104.44. Meanwhile, on the S&P 500, the top performers were Insulet Corporation, rising 6.42% to 201.65, and HP Inc, falling 6.65% to 29.29. On the NASDAQ Composite, iCoreConnect Inc. led the gains with a 118.89% increase to 12.28, while OUTLOOK THERAPEUTICS INC suffered the most significant loss, dropping 80.96% to 0.27.

Stock Movement Details

Shares in iCoreConnect Inc. rose to all-time highs, increasing by 118.89% to 12.28. In contrast, shares in OUTLOOK THERAPEUTICS INC, TD Holdings Inc, and FibroGen Inc fell to all-time lows, decreasing by 80.96% to 0.27, 28.72% to 0.21, and 24.23% to 0.97, respectively.

Volatility and Commodities

The CBOE Volatility Index, a measure of the implied volatility of S&P 500 options, decreased by 3.94% to 13.88. In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery increased by 0.32% to $1,971.40 a troy ounce, and Crude oil for October delivery rose by 0.67% to $81.70 a barrel. The November Brent oil contract increased by 0.45% to $85.29 a barrel.

Forex Movements

In the Forex market, the EUR/USD pair remained unchanged at 0.42% to 1.09, while the USD/JPY pair rose by 0.25% to 146.24. The US Dollar Index Futures decreased by 0.36% to 103.10.
