Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange Closes with 0.18% Increase

On Sunday, the Tadawul All Share in Saudi Arabia closed with a 0.18% increase due to improvements in the Media & Publishing, Insurance, and Petrochemicals sectors.

The top performers of the session included Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co, and Wataniya Insurance Company, which saw gains of 10.00%, 7.33%, and 5.07%, respectively.

On the other hand, Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co, Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance, and Perfect Presentation for Commercial Services Company PJSC had the worst performances, experiencing drops of 6.40%, 5.38%, and 4.17%, respectively.

In commodities trading, crude oil for February delivery rose 2.40% to $79.35 per barrel. March Brent oil remained unchanged at $84.50 per barrel, while the February gold futures contract increased 0.60% to $1,806.00 per troy ounce.

The EUR/SAR exchange rate rose 0.18% to 3.99, while the USD/SAR remained unchanged at 3.76. The US Dollar Index Futures decreased 0.08% to 104.04.


141 stocks declined, while 98 advanced, and 14 remained unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange. Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co hit a 52-week low, falling 6.40% to 22.82.
