The move demonstrates UTA's continued faith in representing successful NFT creators and brands despite several months of low sales volumes in the digital asset industry. Under UTA's head of web3, Lesley Silverman, the agency also represents NFT artist Diana Sinclair and the DeadFellaz brand. In addition, to managing Rose's web3 interests, UTA will oversee all of his subsidiary businesses.
Rose's Proof company manages the NFT projects Moonbirds and Proof Collective, which raised $50 million in a Series A fundraise led by web3 venture capital firm a16z last summer. Moonbirds has generated over 177,000 ETH ($224 million) in trading volume, according to OpenSea.
In addition to his work at Proof, Rose is the founder of the social news site Digg and a general partner at True Ventures and Google Ventures, where he has invested in companies such as Art Blocks, Oura, Blue Bottle, Medium, and Next Door.
