India's Central Bank Head Calls for Blanket Ban on Crypto

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor, Shaktikanta Das, has called for a blanket ban on cryptocurrencies, calling them "nothing but gambling" with no underlying value.

He cited the crash of FTX as an example of the instability of these instruments and called for them to be treated differently than legitimate financial products.
