Chinese Spy Balloon Could Burst in the US

The US government has detected and is tracking a high-altitude surveillance balloon believed to be from the Chinese military.

According to Pentagon spokesperson Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder, the balloon has been hovering over northern parts of the US for several days.

Preventing Sensitive Information Collection

The US government has taken action to prevent the collection of sensitive information by the balloon. However, military officials are currently debating whether or not to shoot it down.

Billings Flights Grounded

Last seen over Billings, Montana, the balloon has caused local flights to be grounded, as reported by Jeff Roach, the Billings Airport Director.
