Affected Customers Notified

According to a statement by a Binance spokesperson, only a small fraction of their monthly active users, 0.01%, will be affected by the suspension. Affected customers will be notified directly.

Other Crypto Services Remain Unaffected

Despite the temporary halt of USD deposits and withdrawals, other methods of buying and selling crypto remain unaffected. This includes bank transfers using other supported fiat currencies, such as the Euro, and buying and selling crypto via credit/debit cards and e-wallets, such as Google Pay and Apple Pay. The Binance P2P marketplace is also unaffected.

No Reason was Given for Suspension

There has been no official reason for the temporary halt of USD deposits and withdrawals on Binance. The situation is ongoing, with no confirmed timetable for the resumption of USD activity on the platform.
